The Equality Protocol

The Equality Protocol

The year is 2072. Two decades ago, the world was in chaos, people unwilling to trust any government or central authority, their credibility long since torn to shreds. Proposal after proposal was decried as another attempt for elites to retain their power without considering society as a whole. Until the Equality Protocol.

Now in the megacities of the world, people live in actual equality, cybernetic advances used to ensure everyone is physically and mentally equal. Everyone can seek the same opportunities, unhindered by the genetic inequalities that have plagued mankind from the beginning. Peace and stability have returned, never to be lost again.

You really believe that stupid propaganda? Think it's A-OK to be shackled by someone else's definition of equality? Do you really think people don't give themselves a leg up, using the Protocol as a cover? Yeah, the same people who tell you deviants are a danger to society anoint themselves as rulers, using their lackeys to keep you blinded by ease and convenience. This isn't utopia, it's a gilded lie papered over the corruption right in front of your face.

The Equality Protocol is a cyberpunk dystopia setting, telling stories of a world allegedly at peace, where people who refuse to be bound by the law, labeled deviants, operate outside the system, trying to stay a step ahead of the enforcers who seek them.

At present, there is one arc, The Crackdown.
